Our insulation is procured through partnerships with various insulation-manufacturing facilities from which we obtain factory-seconds and surplus insulation for the following reasons:
- Off-Specification Materials: Insulation is marginally off-specification (spec) in thickness, r value, or compression strength
- Trial Runs: Change in composition of a product results in trial production runs that did not reach the desired specs
- Job Site Returns: Materials that were shipped to a customer but were returned for any reasons and did not qualify to be re-stocked
- Special Order Surplus: Materials that were ordered at specific sizes and were over-produced but need to be liquidated due to their rare size or specs.
Green Surplus also offers a selection of recycled insulation, which is typically removed from roofing projects, and in reusable condition.
